1. How was the process of creating the GMail account and setting up the Blog?
After reading over what I was suppose to do, it was pretty easy. I've made several emails before so that part only took a couple minutes as for the blog... it took me a little while to get because it wouldn't let me log but obviously, I finally got it. 


2. What do you expect to learn in this course?
I'm hoping to learn more about the different types of art and how they're created. 


3. How do you feel about taking an online course?
Although I do prefer a classroom, I like participating in online classes. They're still challenging but way more convenient  


4. What three things in the Growth Mindset (from Step 3) videos do you believe most apply to you?
These videos were hard to just sit an watch but once I got through them, they were helpful. I wish people would show more videos about his stuff just to encourage others to work for things more. I tend to be unmotivated at times but once I get into something I like, I go all in.

  3. Figuring out what I am going to do with my degree to help better my future.

Module 15 - Guernica

1- Taking my first glance at The Guernica, it was really hard to understand what was even happening. This oil painting is considered to be a moral with many different tortuous images created in it.  There's many elements and principals tat were brought to this piece such as; line, shape, form, value, and movement.  Looking at this picture my eyes dart from one place to another. there is no one thing that draws the attention. 2- The Guernica was made in 1937 by Picasso. This piece was created around the Civil War time period which makes sense because it seems as if the painting was a testimony of war. 3-  The painting was create in a time filled with war, death, and a lot of chaos. Picasso uses symbolism to express this time period. The painting is crazy, it's filled with shapes and forms which make the people and animals. Module 8

More Human than Human  I enjoyed this video and found it very interesting. This video shows how art from our past effects the world as we know it today. He seemed to really focus on art throughout many years. My favorite quote from this video was "We will see how us humans made art but also how art made us humans."  I also enjoyed when he started to converse about the way we view each other and how the brain effects the way we view ourselves.  He also said that the way we see art is not realistic, and mentioned that art we see of human bodies doesn't look the way we think it should/would. The Measure of All Things: Greek Art and Human Figure This video was also very interesting. It demonstrated greek art and how it went from displaying religious figures in the work to showing human figures it also points out that there was a shift to the people that were captured by the art.
