An Acquiring Mind : Philipee de Montebello and The Metropolitan

De Montebello showed the acquisition of more than 84,000 works from around the globe,  demanded innovation in conservation techniques and oversaw the doubling of the physical size of the world-renowned curule institution.  He brought a diverse background in European painting to the Met, he took over the director in 1977. This museum was able to flourish under his leadership.

I thought the videos related to the creation of my project.  The curator is usually in charge of what to tell the viewers. They're also in charge of explains the artist perspective on a piece and putting up a good display of the work.

While I created my art project I had to try hard and really think like the curator and look for pieces that fit under the theme that was chosen. I also found he videos to be slightly boring but they helped get a better idea of how my project should be done.
